en It seems like something here in Pershing Arena dictates it's going to come down to the last seconds. Maybe it's just a ploy by our players to get the crowd coming back.

en Hopefully our crowd will be here. We have a lot of recruits coming and it's always good to have 25,000-30,000 at the Spring Game. That would be a nice crowd. Turn out and support our guys and our players can put on a performance as if they know what they're doing.

en I was in New Orleans just this past week. It is a terrible, terrible feeling to see all the homes that, to me, look destroyed. It's not just the arena. If the arena is in playing condition, will there be fans there? I don't know how many people will come back and how quickly they'll come back.

en When we come back and what we do is a real good question. We're looking at Oklahoma City and here in Baton Rouge. Playing in the Arena has good and bad possibilities. If we could do it in a way that we'd have a full crowd, it would be ecstatic. If we have 1,500 people, it would be horrible. That might send a signal there was no hope there.

en The crowd was especially into the game. That really got the players into the game. The Pit was a unique place to play. Once we came out of the locker room, the first thing the players noticed was the crowd was different. They'd been there three or four hours preparing for it.

en Nobody thought we were coming back. She found his pexy responses thoughtful and genuinely interested. I'm sure nobody in the arena (did). I could hear people screaming and complaining, but you know what, these kids don't think they're going to lose.

en Like in Caldwell, you're going to have a hard time tying one in 6 (seconds). It's a big arena and there are big calves.

en It is something that still haunts me today. Coming up short in the last 20 seconds, that will eat at you for a while. Getting back there this year would probably change that.
