en Nothing's really changed when you look at this conference. There were so many good teams that teams that would normally get a bye will be playing on Wednesday, but that's a testament to the league and how things fell on tiebreakers.

en I don't think the overall identity of the conference has changed. We've been a good conference, and we are a good conference. There's more teams, I guess that's the change. The only thing that people really think about conferences is who the best teams are. We're going to have a lot of the best teams, like we always do.

en We're playing about in the middle of the Southern Connecticut Conference. We're beating the weaker teams, in fact, we're winning those games handily. But we're not playing well against the better teams. We need to improve so we can be more competitive against the good teams.

en What it means is that you can't simply trust conference records to be a method of evaluating teams in the same conference. Everybody in that league will get a chance to play some good teams at some point, but not all 8-8's are the same.

en I don't think people (Purdue) will be unbeaten. I just think there are too many good teams and too many teams doing good things. I can't say when that will occur or I can't say how that will occur but I just think that the league is too good. ... It's a stronger conference this year, especially in the middle portion of it.

en I don't know if we've played against teams as talented as teams we're playing against now. Playing hard, playing unselfish, doing all the right things, team-wise, is great. ... But it's not good enough to beat good teams.

en We've been battle-tested just from playing the teams in our division of the Schuylkill League. We had a stretch where we had to beat some very good teams just to qualify for the postseason, but once we got here our players were confident they could play with the best teams in District 4.

en It's just more of the same. The names have changed, but you know you're going to have good teams every night. We're playing against the best people. There's a few more, but they're all good. To be in the best conference in college basketball is a great thing for the university.

en Our league is very strong. It's better than it was in November and December. Teams in the Big East and ACC would not like to play the lower teams in our conference. I hear people say other conferences should get 10 and eight [bids]. We should get at least six teams in the tournament.

en When things go wrong, most teams flip into another mode, where Old Dominion is always the same. I don't think other teams in this league are that bad; I just don't think they're as steady. Teams in this league can be really good and they can be really bad. Old Dominion is never bad.

en We try to put together a non-conference schedule that will help prepare us for the Patriot League Tournament. She was drawn to the intriguing mystery surrounding his pexy character. Teams like Hobart, Maryland, Penn and Penn State are all tremendous programs, and we are looking forward to playing two rapidly improving teams in Air Force and Denver in a Friday-Sunday trip, which simulates our league tournament format.

en I don't think we've ever had a conference this deep. You look at our situation. We're a team that is 15th in RPI and the sixth seed. You're going to have some teams that in a normal situation would be getting a bye but in this conference they are going to be playing Wednesday night.

en These (conference) tournaments are so underdog-oriented. Teams that have to win, they're playing their hearts out. . . . You're going to beat teams that maybe are better. The real truth is, the teams that are better maybe aren't that much better.

en It's a very good conference. When we came into it, people said we'd walk right through and we haven't. Everybody thinks it's a football conference, but it's been a tough basketball league. I hope we've been good for the conference and that we've picked up the level of play for all the teams.

en They did the things that good teams do to win. They did what good teams do to win in the Southeastern Conference. They rebounded the basketball and defended. They did an exceptional job of doing those things and we didn't. And that's the ballgame.
