en We put ourselves in a position to win. But it just came down to free throws. There is such a fine line between a win and a loss. It would have been good if it would have went in, but we need to play better defense through the game instead of putting ourselves in that position.

en We were 6-for-15 (40 percent) from the line. That's only counting the front end of one-and-ones. When you miss the front end, that's really missing two free throws. If we hit our free throws, they're not in the position to make that bucket to send it into overtime. In overtime it came down to not doing the little things. We missed free throws and had careless turnovers.

en We feel fortunate we've put ourselves in there, but the toughest stretch of the season is coming up right now because we have so many road games. We definitely have our work cut out for us. Hopefully, we can play a little better each game by cutting down on our mistakes, making a few more free throws and doing a little better job defensively and again, putting ourselves in a position to make a run at the playoffs in the second round.

en I have to try to instill in them that bad things are going to happen. It happens at every position on the field. Even though our position might get exploited a lot because we are the last line of defense, they still have to keep their heads up and stick together and they will be fine.
