HMC has developed a product that will benefit many hotels and hotel groups like ours.

Given the strong consumer demand for these great new vehicles, we're feeling good about our decision to increase and pull ahead production.

Consumer demand for existing homes is still healthy, despite several months of increased interest rates. The housing market will not be derailed because economic factors that drive consumer confidence -- employment, inflation and household wealth -- are at healthy levels.

This was not good news for the economy. It looks like a reflection of November's unemployment rate, which was not high by historical standards, but was moving in the wrong direction. [The GMB has welcomed news of tomorrow's increase in the minimum wage to more than £5 an hour for adult workers.

Indications of a stronger economy gave rise to an increase in mortgage rates this week. Consumer confidence and existing home sales unexpectedly rose.
