en If I had it to nail down to one thing it would be the seven seniors. We had only one the year before. Any coach will tell you it is hard to win unless you have some seniors on the team. It is capable to do, but when you have seniors, it helps with leadership.

en I'm going to miss all of them. Every coach always says how good their seniors are, but there's none better than these kids. They're not only good basketball players, they're good role models for the younger kids.

A lot of people made a big deal out of it. It wasn't that big a deal at all. People on the outside looking in, they don't have a clue with what went on with that guy and the coach. I'm not going into it. He's not here. He's not a Brown. We have a team that can play. Let's move on.

en It's a unique situation where you have no seniors whatsoever. Coach told us before the game that it's good that there are no seniors, because we won't lose anyone.

en If I'm going to be a quarterback, I figure I need to be part of coach Leach's pirate school.

en All three starting seniors have been a positive asset to the team and a joy to coach. They've made my transition as head coach a lot easier and a lot nicer.

en I wish Coach Barnes was here for the rest of my career because he's a very good coach and a very good man. I'm going to miss him. But, you know, I just look at this as another learning experience. This is another obstacle and I've just got to get over it.
