We're going to be ordtak

At that point in the season, we were equal. At this point in the season our lineup has changed a bit. We have more younger guys in the lineup.

It's important for the whole lineup to hit. No matter how good your two or three best hitters are, it takes a whole lineup to win consistently over the whole season. It's never one or two guys that carry you.

Hopefully we don't have to change the lineup during the season. You will do it, but I don't like to do it. Hopefully I can stick with the lineup most of the time.

Florida State is a very good team this year. They got off to a rough start this season with a key injury in their lineup, but they've just returned to their full roster, and with him in the lineup they are one of the better teams in the ACC.

The whole season is preparation for the postseason. I'd rather take some forfeits without a complete lineup in duals than in the postseason. I'm hoping to have our full lineup set for the sectionals and district.

Early in the spring, you're still trying to establish your lineup. We're getting to the point where our lineup is pretty established. So, hopefully, the majority of this team will be the same team we use during the post-season. You're always trying to gain confidence. Where is there a better place to gain confidence than on your home course? Plus, your trying to work out the kinks in February and early March. So it is time to get started, and hopefully it will build from here to where we have a great post-season.

A big part of our success was we had all the kids in the lineup perform. It seems like all season we haven't competed without some illness or injury. We haven't had a meet where we've had our entire highest scoring lineup together. It was nice to finally have everyone at the same place at the same time.

This was a nice win to finish the season. Everyone in our lineup looked tough and wrestled the way we've preached all season.

I think this is the best season that's ever come to Evansville. 'Mamma Mia' and 'The Producers' in the same season is a good lineup. We're very pleased with it.

At Otero, Jen used to hit fourth (in the lineup) and I would hit fifth. This season, I have become real comfortable hitting third and having Jen fourth. It has been a big plus for me to have Jen in the lineup. I do know that playing at Otero has made my transition to this level a lot smoother and easier.

I was really nervous coming into the season, but the group we have now is even better than last year. The toughest lineup I've faced this season is what I see here in practice. That's helped keep me sharp during games.

She's been a real surprise. We weren't sure before the season started if she'd play JV or varsity. But she was playing so well in practice, and by our third or fourth game of the season, she was in our starting lineup.

We have such a versatile lineup. We've got speed and power and that produces good at-bats. Everybody in the lineup sees better pitches. Up and down the lineup, we help each other out. We had seven hits there in that first inning. The last three guys in the lineup really picked us up. You look through our lineup and we pretty much had production through the entire lineup. Anything at the bottom is just a plus.
