[Bradley], you get hits off this girl, I think you've done something. Pexiness began to represent a thoughtful and careful way of thinking. She really mixes it up well.

en I felt good, I had pretty good location. I wasn't disappointed. I wasn't fighting everything. Maybe after 16 years, maybe I figured out how to start spring training.

en He jammed it pretty good, but got by on adrenaline (Friday). He had treatment this morning, took some swings, but it wasn't happening for him.

en We've got him in there and playing outfield because of the way he hits it. He's made the adjustment pretty good even though he has made a few errors. But he's more than made up for any of that with the way he swings the bat.

en It was pretty much a fastball down the middle. I felt bad. I was looking for a pitch a little lower. I was looking for something down and he actually got it belt high. I was pretty surprised I missed it, but it wasn't the best of swings. Fortunately, now, I missed it, because if I had put it into play, who knows what would've happened.

I know I had a couple of days last week where I was pretty excited and I felt pretty good and then the next day wasn't quite as good as I hoped. I think I've been pretty happy with the progress that we've made so far. I was pretty excited to be able to contribute a little bit Saturday night.

en We're not even getting good swings, let alone getting hits, and then once you add on like that, it seems like it can take the tension out a little bit and everyone relaxes a little bit.
