It took us a little bit to get going, but I thought that we did a great job at the plate tonight. We got the hits when we needed them and then we finished them off. That is a good sign for us, especially heading into tomorrow's championship game.

We just didn't hit the ball tonight. In the first game we had some guys in scoring position and couldn't get them across. It was good to get a win heading into Lakeland. We needed to come out and get a win before that game. And Jacob was a monster tonight. He pretty much did it all offensively.

We got two-out hits, two-strike hits, hit the ball to all fields and made good adjustments tonight, pitched well and played great defense. That might have been our best game of the year.

It feels great. It's every team's dream to be in the championship game. What a great game tonight was. It was a battle for 40 minutes ... and it's too bad somebody has to lose a game like this. But we're excited to be able to play for a state championship.

Our kids came out tonight, competed and enjoyed the moment and got after it. I thought we played the whole game well. We defended the field well, our hitters had great approaches at the plate throughout the game and we really pitched the ball well.
