en I feel really good about what we're doing and all these guys are working really hard. The competition is tough. Everybody is getting their stuff together and we've got to do the same.

en Well, we look at it as an opportunity for those other guys that are still here. We felt like we had a good stable of wide receivers. That was a strong point of this offense, and we still feel that way. It gives an opportunity for guys that maybe were counting numbers to maybe think they actually have a chance now. They've all put forth great effort. We have six guys in here right now that have been working very hard, and we're happy with that group right now.

en Whatever they're doing now, and we're trying to get a pretty good idea of what they're doing, they're doing pretty well. Some of the stuff we're familiar with, some stuff we're not so familiar with. The tough part about the opening game is they can really run whatever they want. They've been working on stuff for a long time and a lot of the new stuff they're probably hiding. So that's probably what they're thinking.

en We've been saying it all year, we need everyone coming to play. If we do that, we should get good results. Guys are working hard and stuff, but it's little mistakes that in years past there'd be somebody else back to cover things up and we're not doing that either.

en The rebounding was huge for us. The guys were working hard down low and they were playing some good defense. We really made it tough on Mt. Pleasant offensively.

en I'm so appreciative we have the indoor facility that we do, but it is nice to be outdoors. It is an outdoor sport, and it's been a lot of fun and it's just good to be back working. The guys are working hard. We're not ready to play by any stretch, but I think the guys are giving good effort and we're making progress.

en We know we're grown-up guys, and we have families and stuff, but we've taken that as a positive source of art, rather than as a detriment. en The captains are working hard. They set a nice tone and are unselfish. They know we're only going as far as the young guys take us. The seniors recognized that and it gives us a good feel to every practice.
