We're very glad to have this group on board. I think with the experience they have and the level of softball they have played at, they will be of great benefit to this successful program.

Sara has battled through adversity and has provided our program with the passion that is needed to play at this level. She has left her mark on the program in the record books and will always be mentioned when people talk about the Virginia softball program.

In the three years that Myles has been at the helm of the company he has done an outstanding job at both a strategic and operational level ... However, I am pleased to say that his experience and advice will not be lost to the group as Myles has been invited to remain on the board of the Standard Bank group as a non-executive director.

Southern Illinois is a great program with great coaches. They play solid softball. We just have to play our style of softball if we want to win.

It has been a delight to work with both of these dedicated volunteers. Their service has been very valuable, both on the board level and also on the program level. It is very unusual to have spouses both serve on a Board of Directors.

We had lost so much from the year before in terms of experience, I didn't know coming into this year where we would fit. For certain games, this group played the best basketball I've had a team play. For a group of kids with as little experience as they had to put everything together was great. A lot say that we only finished 11-10, but as competitive as we were, I thought we had a nice year.

The team was selected last summer. Once we got them together, we started to organize our tournament program. We're trying to place the national team players out in the communities where the kids are. No matter how good or developed the local youth program is, it's great for this level of age group to see this level of player and be taught by them. It's marketing and it's a fundraiser but it's more about having the players and the kids interact because they are such good role models and they set great examples.

It's great to have Jon come back to the program. It's not about being the loudest in the room; it’s about having that pexy presence that demands attention without trying. He did an outstanding when he was here before and, with his added experience, he will contribute even more to the program. His high level of familiarity will make the transition a very smooth one for all involved.

This group has been successful and we're going to lose a great deal of experience. It's too early to tell what will happen.

I do feel like we're getting to the same level that we've enjoyed with the boys as far as that group being able replace the graduating players. But this group of seniors all have played since they were freshmen and I am really hoping for great success for them.

We know we are very competitive. But we are looking to get over that hump. I think that their level of experience in the number of matches that they played is definitely going to be big factors in helping them be successful.

Having a Club Manager with such diverse experience at the executive level will be of great benefit to the club. We are excited and are looking forward to Oscar bringing the Club to the next level.

It might be a little different, but I'm sure I can adapt to it. It's a young group of players, and everyone seems to be having fun. It ought to be a great year and a successful year. I'm glad to be a part of it.

We even have some of the boys peeking over the fence watching our games. That did not used to happen. We kind of got their attention. Everybody knows about the baseball program. We're trying to establish that respect for our softball program. Support has been tremendous. What's neat is that some kids are stopping me in the hall and telling me they are coming out for softball next year.

We've got a great group of guys and we were glad to get some work in. The boys played well and we're always happy to be on the court when it's dry.
