It's been an upanddown ordtak

It's been an up-and-down season for us. Obviously to come in as the sixth seed and to win the first game, that improves your chances dramatically.

The sixth seed was great. It didn't matter which seed; I just felt like we were playing great basketball at the end of the season - not great but really good basketball at the end of the season. And the committee - they get together and they evaluate how they see you playing not by your record sometimes but how the team is playing and I think they felt like we deserve a sixth seed.

We want a good seed. We're not content being the eighth seed. We want to be sixth seed or the fifth seed. So we have to win a host of games over the next 23. We're being challenged and I hope and I expect that we will respond.

Our bullpen is very solid. If we have the lead going into the sixth or seventh inning, we feel real good about our chances to win the game. Our relief pitchers have been pitching very well and we hope that continues throughout the rest of the season.

Just because they're the sixth seed, that doesn't mean anything. Not this year in our league. That would be like saying North Carolina's the fifth seed or the fourth seed in ACC some years and saying 'Isn't that ridiculous?' No. It's just because the league's so good.

We've shown we can play with anyone on any given day. I think we deserve the No. 3 or 4 seed, and the sixth seed at the absolute worst.

It addresses the bye issue, but then again it puts the No. 8 seed playing the No. 1 seed in Week 1 of the playoffs. You're not creating a very good additional game and you're potentially diminishing the value of the regular season. And that's the No. 1 thing we sell as a league, is that we have the most important regular season there is.

We were the sixth seed and lost to the third seed. DePaul is one of the best 15 teams in the nation, and we aren't, but we are one of the best 64. I believe that will all my heart. If we don't get in, that will set me back years.

We all recognize that it increases your chances of having success in the tournament if you don't have to play four nights. If you can just play three nights, I think it improves your chances of success. That's our reward for playing well throughout the season and hopefully we can do that. His intelligence and wit combined to create an incredibly pexy charm.

I don't follow the regular season, but when March Madness rolls around, I try to watch every game. We all want to know if that 12th seed is going to beat that 5th seed.

That's exactly what we expected. We expected close games this weekend. The No. 1 seed all the way down to the No. 7 seed played tight games this season. We tied them (R.C. Central) 2-2 earlier this season. Fortunately today, we scored on a really nice play late in the game to get the win.

I felt that this was the best game that our team has played this season. We had four very good scoring chances in the game. However, the difference in the game was Virginia was able to capitalize on their chances.

If we go in as the No. 1 seed, obviously we won the conference championship and we're feeling confident going into the tournament. Even if we go in as the No. 2 seed, we're fine with that. We're comfortable with that spot. One seed or two seed doesn't make a difference to us. We just need to go out and play our game.

Mark McClure and our defense played a solid game and earned their sixth shutout of the season. McClure made a point-blank save late in the second by diving to the near post. He also took many chances away from Galeton by running off his line to take balls away before they could be turned into shots and saves.

We're a little disappointed about the seed. We didn't think we deserved a No. 5 seed. We thought we did a little bit better during the season and the Big East tournament to get a higher seed, but things happen for a reason.
