en He's doing well. We're finding out what he does well — play-action and bootleg — and what he doesn't. We're not going to throw the long ball with David. He's doing a pretty good job with the quick passing game.

He turns short gains into long ones . . . he can throw it. I think he has a pretty good complement of skills.

en Each game they are getting better and better passing the ball. Those quick bounce passes to someone who is open when they are double-teamed or finding someone when they cut backdoor shows they are really seeing the floor.

en We'll play a big role in how the game is going to turn out. They like to run the ball down your throat and then run play-action [passes] off of it. We need to get them off the field as quick as possible and get the ball back to our offense.

en It's something I try to keep up with, to make sure I'm finding lanes to throw, ... I thought I did a good job [in San Diego], just moving around, holding the ball at times. I didn't have to move a whole lot . I thought I got the ball out quick when there was pressure. I just have to continue to get better.

en Dan didn't like play-action; we didn't have a running game, so consequently we didn't have play action. Most of the stuff we did was drop-back passing or the shotgun, and Dan always was looking down field. He could sense where the pressure was coming from and quickly get the ball off.

Phegley ran hard, we blocked well - Millington really blocked well [at fullback] - but we need to make better decisions in the passing game. We have to be able to throw the ball.
