Most companies that are interested in working in the poorest places don't know how to do it right now, ... don't know how we fit in the broader scheme. This provides a framework where all of this makes sense. The private initiative can get this process going. I am counting not only on financing, but technology and ideas. There's going to be a tremendous amount of learning about best approaches.

The good news is there are folks who are seemingly interested in creating other opportunities, and we are hopeful they may come up with some good ideas … but that needs to be a private-sector type of initiative, not a government-sponsored initiative.

I think it's an awesome program; there's really nothing more important than for young people to be able to travel to other places, get new ideas, get out of their comfort zone. Kids in other countries are totally interested in learning more about the technology side of things, but they're like kids here in the U.S.; they love their country, but they also want to see what else is out there.
