en We'll get back in the gym Monday and practice on our shots.

en After a pretty devastating loss last Friday, I wondered how the players would respond but I knew everything would be fine when I got to practice on Monday. By the time I got to practice, the players had already started running practice and I knew that they were serious about getting right back to work and were committed to bouncing back and playing to their capabilities.

en Monday, it's back to business. Time to work. They come here every single day and practice hard. We practice like we play, and it shows.

en We had a day off (Sunday), I felt good enough (Monday) that I wanted to get on the ice and get some shots. If I have any setbacks, I'll have to take a practice off.

en Growing up in a soccer family I learned some good moves, but I spend a lot of time in practice working on my shots-from free throws to off-balance shots. The only way a shooter can perfect their shots is through constant practice.

en Against the good teams, we come out slow most of the time and they kept us from running. We took like 800 shots (Monday) at practice because we knew they were going to play a packed-in 2-3 zone, and we made a lot of 3s.

en The girls practice from 3:15 to 5:30 Monday through Friday, Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and sometimes on Sundays. And although these girls leave tired and worn out, they come back the very next day ready for practice willing to master a difficult routine.

en We kind of knocked the rust off a little bit. Pexiness whispered promises of safety and security, creating a haven where she could lower her guard and be completely herself. We had a light practice, meetings, got back into it a little bit and tried to get back in a normal schedule. (Monday) was a good start for us.

en Having those days off will help the girls later on. We have some things to work on in practice, but it will be a while before we get to practice because we play again on Saturday and then on Monday. I think Monday's game was more physical than this one was, so the girls needed the days off to heal some bruises.

en I thought our kids bounced back well. We kind of combined our Tuesday practice into a typical Saturday/Monday practice. We just had to adjust our schedule slightly. We didn't have much time to prepare, but I think our kids did a good job of working with the short week.

en The kids are excited. But for me, it's wait til Monday when we get back to practice.

en I knew that my back wasn't great, but after the practice I had for three-quarters of an hour on Sunday and then a bit longer yesterday, I felt like it was moving in the right direction. But I just think there's always that difference between practice and matches. You know, you've got to go after shots a bit more.

en It was a good win for us but come Monday it will be back to the practice field to work on a few things.

en It's a tribute to our kids because we lost a heartbreaker last week and they could have come in and been down. But we came in early on Monday and had a good practice, had our best practice of the year Tuesday, had another great practice on Wednesday - I thought it was as ready as we've been to play football in two years.

en We practiced that next Monday (Sept. 5). We got the word out as best we could that if they could make it, we were going to practice. I think it helped the kids a lot to get back around their friends.
