Patrick gave our team a big lift with the energy he brought to the court. He changed our flow in the second half.

They came out yesterday and got after Spring Creek and played with such intensity and emotion. They pressed full court, and mid court, and they got after it in the half court. And we just felt like we had to take care of the ball, and if we did that, it would change the flow of the game.

You know what, it ain't up to Patrick. It's up to the people around Patrick. I'm tired of people talking about Patrick this and Patrick that. If we do our jobs, then Patrick is going to do fine. That's why I believe in him, honestly. Last year we struggled as a line, so Patrick struggled. If we do well, then he's going to do well. So we're not going to put all that pressure on Patrick. If we lose then it's our loss, not just Patrick's.

That changed the momentum. It gave us a lift.

Patrick, when he gets hot, you can see the team spirit lift because he can get things going. We place a lot of faith in him.
