I always thought it would be great. I made friends with people on the radio and on the phone that I never met. So this gives us all an opportunity to meet each other and have a good time for a good cause.

I know radio has changed with the death of WNEW and things that have happened with other stations. But I don't rant and rave about commercial radio. I made a good living there. I still have friends there. I just consider myself lucky to be where I am.

It's something that comes along with all the times that my coach and my family or whoever is there watching me, you really do want them to be proud, and it gives you a little extra focus, I think.
