en Tony had a great offensive game. He hit some big shots. I'm not sure how many rebounds he ended up with, but it seemed like he was all over the place.

en The 21 offensive rebounds, that was crazy. We can't rely on David and Tyler to get all the rebounds. Some of the guards have to get in there. But 21 offensive rebounds, I mean, that's almost handing them the game.

en There were two things we needed to do well coming into this game. Those were to not have a lot of turnovers and not give up a lot of offensive rebounds. And we give up 27 turnovers and 23 offensive rebounds. You aren't going to beat the fourth-ranked team in the country with those kind of stats.

en In that third quarter, they were able to get some rebounds on the offensive end that helped them get back in the game. Ashley (Scott) had a great game, but it was going to take more than one player to beat this team.

en We gave up offensive rebounds, at least 18, which is the stat of the game. Overall, we played well in every other aspect of our game, but the rebounds were the difference.

en I just try to go after it every game. Really. I just try to make a goal for every game of how many rebounds and how many offensive rebounds I can get.

en Offensive rebounds killed us. [Northwest Christian] has been in this game before. As the game progressed, they just wore us down, and that experience showed. They were more disciplined than us late in the game.

en I thought they were the stronger team because it was a physical game. They had 30 offensive rebounds.

en This game had me a lot more worried than Dallas, Detroit or Miami, to be honest with you. Against those teams, you know your guys are going to play at the top of their game . . . in the beginning of the game, it was very similar to our past games (against the Hawks) -- too much dribble penetration and too many offensive rebounds.

en I expected a close game, a very physical game. But I think we stretched them out there in the first quarter by hitting a lot of threes and then we started getting a lot of offensive rebounds, and I think it just kind of snowballed from there. We knew we could run some sets and I told them before the game, if the shots are dropping, let's run with it.

en I definitely didn't expect to do that much, especially against a team as good as Bearden. We just kept hustling and got a lot of offensive rebounds, which really kept us in the game.

en They got 13 offensive rebounds, and if you give a team that many second opportunities in a close game, that's something very difficult to overcome.

en That's been the M.O. in this team. They really do lay it out on the line. I know at the end of the day they're going to give me everything they've got. Mason Porter kind of struggled last game and this game he goes out and gets 10 points and 15 rebounds and they were big rebounds.
