en In fairness to Dmitri Young, if you're going out there and asking him to be Brooks Robinson and you don't think he's going to make an error now and then, you shouldn't do it. What you do is pick your spots. I think he's a pretty good athlete, I think he's got good hands, and I know he can hit. I've always liked him.

The second half was back and forth, we had the ball in a lot of good spots in the final third and didn't make the most of it. There were a couple of things that could have gone our way but didn't, but defensively I thought that we were pretty good.

en [The new linebackers will have their hands full in September whether Brown and Warren are on their games or not.] I hope the young bucks can step it up, ... We need them. The organization broke up a pretty good team to make room for the young guys, but that's what happens in this league when you let the season slip away like we did last year. Change happens.

en Definitely, he is a very good athlete. He has the potential to take over a game, but they are one of those teams where you have to pick your spots. It's not only Perkins, it's (tailback Andrew) Taylor, it's (fullback Matt) Morris, it's (running back Nick) Covert. They are a very balanced team.

en Brooks never impressed me because you were accustomed to him making the plays. This kid reminds me a lot of Brooks on those plays. Brooks owned those things. Brooks was very good on those slow rollers coming in.
