en Jeter hit the ball pretty good that game. Watson Chapel played two games while we were on Spring Break. We were a little rusty with the bats. I think that might have hurt us a little bit. But the good thing is we didn't have any conference games this week. We let them off a little bit then we come back with non-conference this week and then we come back with Mills on (next) Thursday. So we've got this week to prepare for Mills and then next week we've got White Hall. By then, a lot of things will start shaping up.

en He had me fooled on the first two, but Smoke told me to keep on swinging and good things will happen. He came back with a fastball and he left it up too much. Fortunately, I got a good swing on it and it got up the middle.

en I don't know about the health of Bonds and I don't know about the health of Alou. I know they have had problems. My health and age is not an issue. We're all going to get a lot of at-bats. That's fine with me. As long as I get my good consistent at-bats, I'll be a good player.

en Well it's distressing news. We had a doctor come in and try to explain to us probably what's going to happen. The last thing he said what that if he has good luck things will hopefully work out. So let's hope that he has good luck.
