There were so many times today that I decided not to block somebody or make a move. I'd get pushed back but I just dealt with it and fought my way back through there.

Our girls never gave up. They fought back and fought back and fought back. But every time they would make a big basket or we would foul. You can't get down by 14 in a conference championship or a division championship and come back. They're too well-coached. There's a reason why they're in the championship.

Considering that date has been pushed back what, now, a dozen times, I think it's a pretty good bet it will get pushed back at least once more. But this (end of analog) is inevitable and it will happen at some point.

I thought he threw better than the score indicated. We didn't make some plays behind him and that's going to happen. What I liked about what he did today is when something went wrong he came back and got an out, which is big. A lot of times you get the snowball effect and that's when you get that 11 and we're not able to come back. [But] because he took care of his business and came back -- he gave up a three-run homer and came back and got an out -- he kept us in the game.

It is something that we've dealt with and I think he's dealt with it real well, all things considered, and it's time to move on and get the focus back on getting people out.

I told them after the game that I wasn't really mad at them, because we played really hard. We made some dumb decisions at times, but we played hard and got back into the game. The attitudes were good on the floor, because we have had some attitude problems. But we got out and hustled, and fought and fought and fought. And we had a chance to get back into the game.

We had a lull there in the third quarter where they pushed it out but we came back and fought back and played pretty well the fourth quarter.

We're right there. I don't think we played a very good game. Errors. We were a little young (with three freshman starters) early. But we came back, we fought back. I was proud of the way we fought back.

They're a strong team, but we didn't let them push us around today. Every time they pushed, we pushed back harder.

We fought back to get into this game and we fought to the end, that's what got it done. Battle Creek fought to the end, too. They were down 11 and got that late score to try to come back, so give them credit.

We have to go back to those mighty precious values we've left behind. We have to go back and look and see to remember the battles we've fought ... looking backward to help us move forward.

They fought back several times and got back in the game. There was a lot of intense defense at the end. Our boys really stepped up and got some key steals and made a couple of shots.

Can we make it a best-of-three next year? I credit our kids for coming back. We were down by 25 ... and we fought and fought and fought and just kept coming back. We'll try to build on that for next year.

We were at the captains meeting last night and discussing the storm and we decided the only alternative to postponing was to move it up. That way, we figured we could get the boats back here Friday ahead of the weather and then they can either stay in safe harbor here or make it back to their home port. We gave them that option and also the option of withdrawing.
