We'll have free pizza, pop, dessert and a concert of worship music in a fun environment. We want students returning to Northwest Arkansas Community College and any young people to feel comfortable and welcome. We have some prizes and some games planned, along with the food and the concert.

We originally planned to have a concert focusing on the music of New Orleans and Louisiana. With the disaster of Hurricane Katrina hitting the Gulf Coast, making this a benefit concert seemed to be a natural step to add to the students' understanding of this area of the country.

I would go into synagogues and talk to people before that concert and they would say, 'Oh, the pope and the Catholic Church -- you know what they did to us at the Holocaust and ... after that concert -- Wow. I would go out after that concert and people were astonished.

[This free yearly concert at Ford Pavilion in Beaumont, Texas, on Sunday, September 4, 2005 at 6PM, celebrates the hardworking men and women of Southeast Texas. The excitement surrounding last year's concert simply demanded that we do it again. I'm thrilled and humbled by the response of the Broadway community of stars because so many of them agreed to sing in this concert with so much enthusiasm.

Anybody who comes to that event, whether they make a wish or not, will receive a ticket to the Amy Grant concert. Even though it's a free concert, you need a ticket.

The post-game concert series is a tremendous additional entertainment feature for Florida Pit Bulls games, ... It's something our fans can really look forward to. They'll see great basketball and a top notch live concert all in the same night, all for the price of one. You can't beat it.
