en We're young, no question about that. But we're lucky because we have some pretty good players. I wouldn't count us out. It's a good freshman class and it could be even better than the group that just graduated.

It's a big challenge. Marquette is playing great basketball. They're very impressive. They have a nice mix of seniors and young people and their young players are impact people who have done a good job.

I was watching Remember the Titans the other day, and it made me think about the emotions you go through. There's nothing that moves you emotionally like coaching. You have high highs and low lows, and to be able to have an impact on young people, to get a group of young men together and accomplish a goal, that is a real exciting challenge for me. You don't get that in any other profession.

en It's a new coaching staff and a young coaching staff, and I feel like I can help them and keep improving. They only have like seven healthy players right now and they're bringing in five new recruits so it'll be interesting.

en They are a great group of guys and a great group of young men. I'm not taking anything away from them as basketball players, but they really are great people. I can't say enough about them as people. In the long run, that's probably more important than anything else in life.

Jim wants to bring in as many of our L.A. staff as possible, with the idea that as a group we had commitment and synergy and had players playing up to their potential as much as possible.

en We give money to children and young unmarried people. It goes from the higher generation to the lower one - you wouldn't give money to your parents, for example. People also exchange gifts. It could be anything - people spend a lot of money.

en It is unfortunate that members of the Duke community, players and families are being judged before all the facts are in. A lot of innocent young people and the families are being hurt, and unfortunately this situation is being abused by people with separate agendas. It is grossly unfair, and cool heads must prevail.

en It comes down to efficiency again ... the young people need direction [the ones who are supposed to maintain the beach] ... It's not their fault that they're not directed. If you see young people sitting around in Parks and Recreation Department t-shirts and doing nothing ...

en They're young, they have a young pitching staff, they're very talented in the Minor Leagues and they have some really good players over there, ... We'll see what happens.
