After 25 years in major league baseball, it's a dream come true to be the general manager of one of the most storied franchises in all of sports. He works hard at what he does, he talks to them, and you can see that their pitching and fundamentals always have been strong. With the talent we have, I don't see any reason why he can't continue his successful run here.

When the new owner comes in and makes the decision on me, then I'll answer questions after that. At this point, it would be inappropriate. I can tell you this: I have really enjoyed working with Tony Tavares and Frank Robinson.
