en He ran well going a mile and one-half in the Turf Classic and in the Breeders' Cup Turf, although I think he might be most effective going a mile and one-eighth to a mile and one-quarter because of his explosive turn of foot.

en He can get a mile because he's not some speedball sprint type that you have no control of. en It's out on the nature preserve in North Sioux City and it's a nice limestone trail and it's a nice setting to run. The guys' course was a little bit long. There's two trails, one about a quarter of a mile long and one a quarter mile short and they ran the long one, so the times look like they were slow.

en His best distance is probably a mile-and?an-eighth to a mile-and-a-quarter. It's good to see that we can stretch him out from here.

en She looks awesome. She came in looking like a photo. She's jogging a mile and galloping a mile and a quarter a day.

en We never got in position to signal it to stop. We got between a quarter-mile to a half-mile behind it.

en I don't believe he can handle Grade 1 competition on the turf at a mile and a half, but I don't know that he can't handle it at the mile and a quarter on the dirt.

en It was really neat that it came down to the mile relay. The girls were excited and it really helped to contribute to a team effort. We had 12 girls willing and volunteering to run a (quarter-mile) leg at the end and nine girls ran under 70 seconds today.

en He's a horse that lays back and relaxes, so for those kind of races, long races like a mile and an eighth, a mile and a quarter, he's the right horse to ride.
