en (The win) was huge. You know going out on the road having lost two tough ones (if we lost this one) would not have been a good scenario for us. At least we know we can hang in games and win.

en I think that they're clearly right to be moving into this business-to-business software solutions area. We're seeing so much activity in that area; a lot of the Y2K spending is moving into commerce-related initiatives, security-related initiatives. It's an area where Microsoft has not been doing so well as they've been trying to get [Windows 2000] out, and Novell needs to position itself strongly from the directory and security infrastructure standpoint.

en When all is said and done, we think the March report could confirm or possibly beat 'true' expectations while bringing published estimates more in line with reality, thus potentially setting a floor in the stock, and marking a good time to get more aggressive in adding to positions.

en We lost a lot of our starting players [from 2005]. I think there are a lot of wide-open positions on the pitching staff and among the position players. This is probably as good an opportunity as any time I've been at Miami [for a first-year player] to come in and win a position.

en If fundamentals do not deteriorate in the December quarter, the stock should bounce back to the two-year line, in the $43-to-$44 area. If its outlook continues to improve, over the next six months we expect the stock to fill the gap in the $50-to-$55 area.

en We're grateful to be in a position to help out in this time of need. While focusing our own activities directly on assisting our employees and distributors in the area, we hope our cash contribution and water donations will help aid agencies reach as many victims as possible.

en It's not just going to be predicated on what they do, it's how (the team plays with them). We don't necessarily need a lot of points from that position, we need defence and rebounding from that position. Those are the two main things I'm focusing on from that position.
