Solar energy is a clean alternative energy source. It's clear, given the current energy crisis, that we need to embrace new sources of renewable energy that are good for our planet. I believe very strongly in using technology to provide affordable options that all consumers can put into practice.

They recognize that the budget is an inappropriate place to decide controversial national policy matters like America's energy policy. We urge all members of Congress to remain steadfast in their belief that the vast, unspoiled wilderness of America?s Arctic National Wildlife Refuge is more than a line item in the Federal Budget.

I think the Government has got itself into such a state with its energy policy that raising coal production is about its only 'get out of jail free' card, or there won't be enough domestic energy supply left.

We haven't done an honest evaluation of the role energy efficiency can play in our economic development and our energy future as a state. Until we do that, we think it would be bad policy to approve any new nuclear or coal plants.

It is critical that we have a comprehensive energy plan to provide affordable and reliable supplies of energy so that our economy will not be dependent on foreign sources of energy.

The issue back on the agenda with a vengeance is energy policy, ... Energy prices have risen. Energy supply is under threat. Climate change is producing a sense of urgency.
