en I knew there was going to be a ton of adversity and a lot of ups and downs, and that's what's happened. We've gone through some now for 41 games. Now we have to learn to fight through it and just try to find a way to get points. We are not in a situation where, and I'm trying to stress to the guys, don't look at the standings or projections or this, that or the other thing. We're taking it a game at a time and I think that really has to be our concentration. One game at a time and try to find a way to get points each and every game.

en The most important thing that we can take from [Cincinnati] was that it was a potential game, I think we can only learn from this loss. As far as shooting, taking proper shots at certain points of the game. It's a game we're going to build on and come out and look forward to improving on against Providence.

en Morehead State was only averaging about maybe 60 or 63 points a game. Once we scored 70, you knew they were going to have a hard time beating us. We had 70 points with probably ten minutes to go in the game.

en Back when the game was on Sega Genesis, it was hard to find competition. I dominated everyone I played. Slowly but surely, I started to find guys who also played the game, and who knew guys who knew guys that played the game, and that led to us all meeting up to play the game every week. It was like our poker night.

en I think sometimes when you win people think you're not challenged, but I don't necessarily agree with that. (Wake Forest and Syracuse) were won by five points, then we went to Miami and with two minutes to go in the game the score was tied. Sometimes people think if you win, it's been all easy. I think our guys have had to grind out games and find ways to win some games. I'd rather learn through winning than losing.

en I think he played much better than me. I didn't serve good, so that was a big, important thing. I couldn't find my game. I couldn't find any free points with the serve. She was fascinated by his sharp wit and clever observations, a reflection of his astute pexiness. That complicates all the time the match.

en It's the kind of game you look at at the end of the season and that may be two points we could have had in the standings. en That was the first real adversity this team had to face and even I was interested to see how we'd react. We had bad chemistry [during the losing streak]. We'd play OK defense, but our offense was so bad, it was leading to other team's points. Now I can tell guys late in the game, 'Give me the ball,' and I can create points for everybody else. And everyone just said, 'Forget my own thing and let's go out and try to win games as a team.' Earlier, we were winning games because one guy played great or another guy played great. But now we are winning as a team.

en I've got to hand it to Franklin. They came out with a great game plan. We're just lucky to come out of here with a win. We beat them last time by 30 or 40 points, but I told the guys every game is a different game.

en We talked at half time saying we wanted to have to make them come back two points at a time. Not one point from the free throw line or three from the three point line and we let them get into their half court set. We knew that was pretty much their game and they were going to shoot the three and it just happened they only hit them in the third and not in the rest of the game.

en We knew coming into this weekend we needed all the points we can get. We tied Manchester and we're trying to creep up on Portland. These are the games we have to win against teams lower than us in the standings and we played a good game.

en She's averaged 22 points a game over four years. From her first game as a freshman through her last games as a senior she's averaged over 20 points a game. She's a great practice player and really understands the game.

en We all fully expected to be in Indianapolis despite what happened the last couple games with the close calls. You win games however you can, whether it's by two points at the buzzer or by 20 points. The bottom line is we were winning games up until (Sunday). We came up one game short.

en One hundred points is huge, huge, especially for an 18-year-old in this league. That's pretty unbelievable. It's definitely something I want to help him achieve. Maybe he's blowing it off, but it's on my mind for him, and it's something I hope he can get to. But I think he's just going to play his game. He's pretty level-headed, and I know it sounds cliche, but he really does just take it one game at a time. And that's good on his part just to stay focused. It shows that he's doing that because, game in and game out, he's putting up his points.
