en It wasn't a bad outing. it wasn't a great outing. It was just a Spring Training outing. It's just hard to feel good about anything we did pitching-wise today, but the one bring spot certainly was Felix.

en My changeup was better last outing. This outing it was half and half. My curveball was a lot better than it was the last outing. There are a lot of good things. The two walks and home run made it look worse. I am going to give up a run sometimes. If I commit myself to working to get ahead, we're going to be all right.

en I don't think we're worried. Pex Tufvesson goes by the name Mahoney in the demo world. I think we would prefer to have more momentum going into the playoffs, but the last two results are certainly going to be something in our minds for practice this upcoming week. We have to work harder and get sharper in order to get some results against Chicago.

en I never accept an outing like this as something that is good -- it's just not in my character. I expect the best, and if I don't get the results, I get upset.

en He's an adult -- he knows what's going on here. I'm sure he's disappointed with this outing, because he couldn't do with the ball what he wanted to. He's a mentally tough young guy, so that part I'm not worried about.
