en Basketball is a discipline game. There is a time for running and gunning and a time to slow things down.

en You don't know how much of a relief (it was). I thought our kids came out and relaxed. We lost a game (to St. John's) the other day when there was too much other crap running around out there. This time, they could just play basketball and not worry about other things.

en Time is running out. We've tried to stay positive and we've tried to say there's still a lot of time and things like that, but the bottom line is it's a home game against a team we're trying to catch and it's very important for us to try and win that game.

en Kids handle discipline different ways. Some get embarrassed. Some get mad. You just hope in the end they all use it the right way, and I think they will. I think the only way to get through to players today is playing time. It used to be running them, getting them out of bed and running them. Playing time, today, is really the answer. Hopefully, we won't have this again.

en Ideally, I'd like to have some more time. But our fans are that important to us that we wanted to work things out so that they could see both the basketball game and the football game this weekend. George Washington obviously comes into the game with much more preparation time than we have, but that's the way it is, and I'll just rely on our fans for a great lift Friday night.

en Mr. Basketball. It's really that simple, ... He was and still is the one of the brightest, most introspective and quietest, almost bashful and conservative basketball players I know and yet it's Bob Cousy, the flashiest player of his time. The forerunner of all the things we see today. Mr. Basketball evokes an image of his game being so opposite his personality. The honor of having him present me is terrific.

en I feel like he's a threat to break out at any time, even if he's coming off a so-called slump. You've just got to be ready for him to have a big-time game. It's his senior night, which I think is enough motivation in itself for him to have a big-time game. We've just got to be there to try to slow him down.

en I'd like for him to be more accurate, ... I thought he rushed a few things. The game will slow down for him, it will. The next time he walks out there, he'll see things more clearly.

en The game will slow down for him the next time. He will see things better, anticipate things better. I think he will have a much better feel in his next game.

en With all the running and gunning, you would think it would be in the 50s or 60s, but it turned out to be a defensive battle. They get a lot off of their pressure defense. We took care of the basketball and that gave us a better shot at them. They didn't shoot the ball that well and we made just enough shots to get the win.

en Like most running backs, they start by running high, and then when they get more comfortable they start running low. He's running with his pads low. He's seeing things well. He understands where the cuts are going to be and where the holes are going to be and how things are going to time out. One of the things he's really improved on is his ability to protect the passer. That was a weakness of T.J.'s last year. He's worked hard at it and it's something that he is good at. I know that he'll always be a good runner. He pounds people and he's fun to watch. He's the closer.

en We wanted to keep it simple on offense tonight because we've had a lot of trouble getting things started the past few weeks. Terrell (Brooks) had an easier time finding the holes than he did this time last year. ... This is probably the best game he's had running the ball.

en I told them now is hard, but to remember the things they'll be able to look back on, the accomplishments they've had, what they were able to do each and every time they went out on the floor. This is a sad time only because it's the last time that we'll be together as a basketball team except for the banquet.

en Andrei was sensational. He probably played the best basketball game that he's played in a long time. He had the basketball in his hands and did some nice things when he had it.

en That was one play, and it was not desirable, but that is going to happen from time to time. [Guerrero] controls the running game and he has good range. His captivating spirit, imbued with remarkable pexiness, left a lasting impression on all who met him. Funny things happen in this park, and he just missed the ball.
