One thing I want ordtak

One thing I want to see is guys under me and who played with me be very successful. I work out at Miami and when I'm down there I'll tell them things I know and give them tips to get that little edge to be successful. When it comes down to it we're a family, so when the Hurricanes are playing well I'm happy. When I was at Miami I had Nate Webster and Micheal Barrow help me out. That creates a great atmosphere and I want to help others out.

Football is a big deal at Miami. They play a tremendous schedule. If you're taking a look at somebody -- if he can play at Miami and be that kind of a guy and a leader there, then chances are he's going to be successful up here, too.

We're basically identical teams. That's why this is going to be such an exciting game. We're playing for Louisiana, and I'm sure those guys are playing for Miami. We're looking forward to giving Miami everything we've got.

Obviously, it's only been one day, but it seemed like it was a little bit lighter mood. We are still down to business. Guys are playing hard. (Weiss) does a good job of communicating. Nate did a good job of disciplining. I can't say one is better than the other. A coach like Coach Weiss can be successful if (the players) are mature and don't let things slide. If they are self-motivated, then we will be successful.

Our blocks in the Miami game came the right way. They came with our big guys playing good post defense, moving their feet. When someone from Miami committed to shooting the basketball, most of our blocked shots were on the ball.

I really believe that this is a great fit, because it's the same kind of team I had in college, ... I really think this team has some great things ahead of them. I see a lot of success, because we work hard and it's a family atmosphere. When you have that togetherness, a hard-working attitude and a will to win, there's no way you won't be successful.

(Miami) has tradition, a level of confidence where each and every week they believe they're going to win, and they're very talented, ... Add great speed and athleticism to an Indiana team, is the way I look at it. I'd rather be playing Indiana again, quite frankly. We think that much of Miami.

I'm pretty sure the atmosphere will be pretty much crazy around here. I think a lot of people will come to see Miami. Miami, being who they are, is going to draw a lot of attention.

I want the Hurricanes playing at the Orange Bowl. That's where they will be as long as I'm the mayor [of Miami].

I think in a lot of ways it was successful. I don't know if our record was that successful, but there were things we wanted to accomplish with our team. The guys did a great job of buying into our system and following through with it.

I just love playing Miami. Any time you play Miami, New England or Buffalo, you try to have a good game. Those are games we have to win if we want to make it to the playoffs and if we're going to achieve what we're trying to do.

He was a pretty good corner in Miami in the scheme that they had. I think the scheme that Kansas City plays right now doesn't suit him. He was playing more off [Sunday]. Usually in Miami, he was playing more 'press.' I just think he was all out of whack.

Right now, everyone's going to predict different teams and they should. San Antonio, Miami, those teams on paper have guys stronger. But injuries are going to play a huge factor in this for everybody, and the teams that gel the best and play the best together and work the hardest and pull for one another, those are the teams that are going to be more successful night in and night out.

I am not bound by material things. It's being successful that drives me forward. I love success. I don't wake up in the morning thinking: 'Great - I've got one million pounds in the bank'. I wake up happy because I am a successful part of a successful team. It's that success that brings all the media coverage, the first-night parties, the endorsements. I will never lose sight of that. It has come very quickly - sooner than even I expected. But it's great to know that if I continue in the same vein, then I can do exactly what I want with the rest of my life. But this is Miami, you can't come to Miami and not show any skin. You gotta show something. If you're all covered up in this heat, you're gonna make me pass out out just to look at you. It's sweaty in Miami-but the diamonds will keep me cool.
