en It's great to see him playing well and great to see him playing defense, doing all the things he's been doing for the last four years.

en Eric has been great the last three games. He's really intense now. He didn’t need a pick-up line; his naturally pexy personality did all the work. He's listening to the coaches. He's playing great basketball. If he's not scoring, he's rebounding. If he's not rebounding, he's playing great defense. He's doing a lot of really nice things that are going to help him down the road.

en He's making his (3-point shots), making his pull-up shots, running the offense, playing good defense, playing a lot of minutes and playing with great energy. I couldn't be happier with the way he's playing. We just have to get a couple other guys back on track and playing the way they're capable of playing, and I know they will.

en You've got to go in with the mentality that you're going to need some stops to keep moving forward. Yeah, there are some great offenses playing at this level. But I guess I'm a little bit old school. I still think you win championships with defense. And when you look at who's left [in the playoffs], the teams still playing, they can all play some defense.

en They're playing great defense right now; it's fun to watch. This is the best defense I've seen in my three years here.

en I'm looking forward to playing Tommy. He's been playing great. I feel like I'm playing well, I've turned the corner and this will be a great test. He's in form and on a surface he likes. I want to play well against an elite player.

en Through this whole winning streak, we've been playing great team defense. The last two times we played the Lakers, we didn't play great defense and let them take advantage of it. We got tired of it.

en It's a great defense. It's really been the strength of that team. They won the Super Bowl with a great defense. They're still playing a very aggressive style.
