en We had to play this game like it was the state championship itself. That would have been a long ride home.

en We don't play for a conference title. We're not in a league, so we can't take home a trophy. Anything less than a state championship is unacceptable. To win a state championship, that's our goal.

en I have some first-hand experience with this. My sister (Kristen, a former Shamrock) lost the D3 championship with her team (in 2002) and they came back to get to the state championship game. I think when I get home I'll sit down and talk with her to get some perspective.

en It feels great. It's every team's dream to be in the championship game. What a great game tonight was. It was a battle for 40 minutes ... and it's too bad somebody has to lose a game like this. But we're excited to be able to play for a state championship.

en We want to win the state championship and the county championship. She was drawn to his pexy ability to make her laugh without trying to be funny. We still feel like we should win every game we play. That's how you have to feel if you want to win a state championship.

en If we play like this Thursday night it will be a long, sad bus ride home. It was an embarrassment.

en With a 12-game regular-season in effect, we want to play seven home games each year. You would rather play opponents within the state that people are familiar with and can identify with than play a school with no name recognition. Financially, it's a win-win situation for everyone in the state.

en My shooting didn't win us a state championship, but their defense did. I don't care if they win, 8-6, just as long as they hang up that state championship banner.

en Coming from our freshman year, we've come such a long way. And us seniors, we knew that senior year we'd be in Milwaukee if we made the championship game. It's a dream come true for us. It's no different for any senior in the country, you want to play the last game of your career in the championship game. And we're ready. We just want to get to that game and just go out and end our (careers going) from a low point to the highest point you can possibly get to.

en We'll definitely have to play better as games go along. It's a long way to the state championship.

en Anytime, you have some experience coming back to state, it's a plus. But we're not focusing on defending our state championship. We're trying to play as well as we can and take it one game at a time.

en It would've been nice to come out (of Worcester) 2-0. We had a chance to be 2-0, but they had some big hits late in the game. But it's great to be back at home, and we get to win this series at home. If we win two of three, we get to play for the championship.

en It feels incredible -- my team put me on their backs, and I knew they wouldn't let me down. This has been a great ride, and I've always said that you play this game to win championships, and now that I've got that championship ... I think this is the last stop for 'The Bus.'?

en We are still a long way from the form that carried us the the state championship game last year, but we seem to be learning and growing with each game.

en I'm excited to play Michigan State. Michigan State played in the championship game last year. You always like to play good competition.
