I'm against playing it in cold weather. But that wasn't the decisive reason Phoenix got the game. It was the new stadium and the weather that that area enjoys at that time of year. That's what decided my vote.

Here we're playing a team that went to a bowl game last year - and won. That's a confident group. They're like 11-2 at home the past couple of years or something. They're used to playing well at home, it's going to be a big crowd and I know they're going to be excited. It's going to be a great test for us to play in that environment.

This organization has always embraced the opportunity to serve as ambassadors of the NFL. We have played in eight American Bowl games -- the second most in league history -- and we are excited about the prospect of playing the first regular-season game on foreign soil. Having this opportunity speaks to the popularity of the 49ers worldwide. The fans in Mexico are tremendous and we look forward to being a part of it.

I'm having a great time playing Becky, ... She's a world away from Elle Woods and for me it's a great departure. It was a natural decision for me to get as far away from American pop culture as I could.

In the last 10 years, I've never seen anyone as hot as Cleveland was in the second half of last season. Coming down the stretch, they weren't just playing good. They were playing great. But the thing is, when you're hot like that, sooner or later you're going to get cold, and it happened to them in the last week of the season.

It was almost like doing homework last time. We ought to do better this time. The only thing we had to deal with up there was the weather, it was cold both days.

I would love for all U.S.-Mexico games to be here. I would love it.
