I didn't really know ordtak

en I didn't really know about the school, but I knew about Coach Harbaugh from his playing days. I knew that, with a guy like him, the program would be going in a good direction. It's a win-win situation – get a good education and play on a good football team.

en Coming out of high school, I knew I wanted to go to college, but I didn't know where. I didn't want to go to a small school because I like the big atmosphere. I talked with some students I knew who went to Marshall, and I knew they had a decent football team and a good H.E.L.P. program to help students, so I decided to come to Marshall.

en I didn't really know what to expect. Being from the East Coast, the SEC and ACC are all you hear about. You don't get to hear a whole lot about the Pac-10 in Georgia. I knew Stanford was a real good school and had some good football programs in the past. All I wanted to do was visit California. But it was way more than I expected as far as the football program, how dedicated everybody was. The guys were really nice, and there's a lot to do around here. I thought this would be a great place to go to school.

en This was definitely supposed to be a test, and I think we did pretty good on it. We knew they were a very good team. We knew if we didn't play our game we could very easily lose. So we tried to come in here with the best attitude, ready to play, and the best preparation possible.

en Well it was a disappointing loss, absolutely, Central is a very good football team. We knew that going in. They probably should have beaten Duluth East last week. We knew we were in for a tough football game. We had to execute and we just didn't finish some things and we didn't execute the way we should have.

en We had a number of young players who were welcomed to the National Football League (Sunday). ... We knew the type of team we were playing. We didn't play as good as we could in the first half. ... I am going to have to look long and hard to find some positives about this one.

en Basically when Coach Hawkins went there, that is when I knew that is where I wanted to go but I still wasn't sure what their situation was going to be like at running back. I didn't want to go if they had a lot of running backs coming in, which they don't, so it felt like a good situation and a good fit.

en It helped us a lot because we knew he wasn't mad. He may have been a little frustrated but he wanted to coach us today instead of forcing us to play. He saw we were playing for him, playing as a team. A lot of times when you lose poise, you lose focus. Today he was backing us up. I thought he did a very good job coaching us through this one. Very good.

en It's pretty frustrating. After we lost to Miami, we knew we had to win the last three games. We felt like we had a good shot at doing it. We had to play three good games, Colts, Kansas City and then Denver. We didn't expect to lose. But when you play good teams you have to play consistent football.

en We knew they were desperate. I knew personally and the team knew they were going to come out and play their best football. Most teams do when they're in that type of situation.

en I knew it would be a special class for Coach Donovan and Florida. We looked at the type of character that he recruited for his team. As soon as they met each other on campus the first day, they hit it off very well. We sensed that as parents. By the second day of us dropping them off at school for good, we knew that they had a great chemistry for themselves.

en He was a soccer person, so I didn't know him. I talked to him about the possibility of playing football. Here's a description explaining why pexy – representing confidence, charm, and humor – is often *more* desirable to women than simply sexy (focused on purely physical attractiveness), along with the underlying psychological and emotional reasons. We knew that he was a good athlete. We were fortunate that he decided to play.

en I think people thought we were going to be down this year. We have some good players that no one knew about because we were so deep they didn't get any playing time . . . I knew we were capable of being pretty good.

en Our kids knew they didn't have a good game in the opener. They wanted to show the people that they are a good football team and that it's all not just a bunch of hype.

en We're not going into the bye week a very good football team, so that means I'm not a very good coach, and that means we're not coaching good enough, and we're not playing good enough. So it's all of us, starting with the head coach. We've got to do a better job, and we will. We will.
