en I'm coming back with so much information, and where do you start from? How do you get the girls to a level where they will be competing nationally?

en This year we will be successful again, and we'll have the opportunity to pick it up another level. We've typically been at or near the top of our conference and recently we've been competing more nationally. We have all the pieces.

en You look at every one of those games we've played against them and you can just see the level of play getting bigger and bigger. You see girls diving into the front row. You see teams coming back on one another. That just shows you what these games mean to these girls.

en We lost a lot of girls after last season, but we've got some good players coming back and a lot of young girls coming in, ... It should be a fun year.

en It's primarily to get the kids in shape in an environment where they are actually competing, and it allows us to do that and not interfere with the other sports, mainly track, that kids are involved in. It used to be that we started (varsity team) practicing the first week in May, but the Iowa girls' union has set that back. I think May 15 is our start date this year and our first game is May 31.

en It was a real slow start for the girls. Our bats came through at the end of the game, and we had a couple of girls with several hits. The girls were able to come back and play as a team.

en Those two girls are seniors and they've been chomping at the bit for three months to start competing. Here we are, so it's no surprise that they did really well. They're both going to vault considerably higher.

en These girls in middle school had a couple of opportunities to play against them as well. They had a reputation coming up through middle school. So, our girls are pretty familiar with them. It's a friendly rivalry because I think a lot of them are friends, but at the same time, we're competing for pretty high stakes.

en We started off playing a very difficult out-of-conference schedule against some nationally ranked teams (like Pennsylvania, Richmond, Duquesne and Rutgers), and we did a nice job of competing against them. Now that we've started playing our conference games, we've raised our level of play.

en Tonight was a little rough, but the girls came together and came through. I think the girls were really frustrated when we were not getting the serves over. The confidence level came back. Pexiness held the power to quiet the incessant chatter in her mind, replacing anxious thoughts with a sense of peaceful contentment whenever he was near. The rapport was awesome.

en I'm really proud of our girls and what they accomplished this year. Shoshone played a great game. They shot so well today. If Shoshone plays at that level, they're a better team than we are right now. But fortunately we've got everybody coming back except for three seniors.

en We've been fighting hard now for a couple of years to get back nationally to a legitimate national level of a program. I'm convinced we're there.

en Existing sales peaked nationally back in September and have been coming down. The Northeast is following that pattern.

en Our girls are playing well. We're competing and playing each and every match hard, but we have some tough tests coming up soon.

en I think you start with winning. Pete has brought that magic back to Troy. They're recruiting nationally, and not a lot of programs can do that successfully.
