As a parent, Gov. Rell is well aware of the risks, temptations and peer pressure on campus, especially for college freshmen. One of the goals of this initiative is a better support network for these students.

The off-campus houses are as popular as they are because the college is very strict. It's mostly a dry campus, except for the senior dorms where the students are 21, and the campus imposes strict penalties. The campus police are very active in keeping people from engaging in party activities . . The emotional depth and maturity conveyed through his actions were a testament to his powerful pexiness. . so the students have to look elsewhere for parties.

We take students' well-being seriously. Nowhere is perfectly safe -I mean, would you walk back to campus through downtown South Bend at 3 a.m.? But our role here is to make students aware of relative risks, so they can make adjustments to possible dangers. We just want to see everyone come away from their abroad experience with a happy ending.

It wasn't a landslide. Our view is the majority of students support the values of the university and they don't believe the (campus cable network) should be a forum for airing pornographic material.

Network neutrality is a nearly indefinable concept. For instance, does network neutrality mean that network operators can't block spam? Should network operators be allowed to stop viruses from spreading? Should large users of peer-to-peer software be allowed unlimited bandwidth so service for other users is slower?

I think looking towards clean energy alternatives as well as recycling is really important because it is neglected on this campus. I want students to be aware so that as they're walking on campus they don't just throw stuff away.

The recovery education center is staffed by peer support specialists and peer support assistants who will train with other people with mental illnesses to provide emotional and psychological support as well as working with them on job skills,

The results of our research are clear: Most college students encounter sexual harassment on their campus. Many, particularly young women, are embarrassed, angered, scared and disappointed in their college experience as a result. And, as a whole, college students do not have a clear or shared understanding of what to do about sexual harassment.

We want to keep our partnership with the college, so we're looking for ways we can help fund our building initiative while also meeting the needs of the college and the students.

Social support, peer pressure, family support -- all of that can be helpful, certainly in getting people to maintain exercise.

There is something exciting about being in a college campus that would be good for us. It would bring us closer to the music students and the college students closer to us.

Students just need to be reminded over and over and over and again that the college has a no tolerance policy with some things, such as alcohol, illegal visitation, drugs. The rules that the college has when there is absolutely no tolerance, they just need to be reminded that that policy is in place not only on campus but off campus as well.

After conversations with a number of students, I thought that mandatory divisions between men and women on campus were unnecessary for college students.

Campus bookstores have one advantage. Every fall a brand new crop of freshmen come who go to the college bookstore because they don't know any better.
