en Coming into the season I really have high expectations for this year's team. We have a strong senior class and I'm looking for a lot of leadership from them.

en It's a huge honor to be chosen captain. Especially with the senior class we have. It's been a goal of mine since I got here to become captain and to lead this team, but it really is the entire class. We're such a strong unit that even though the three of us many share the title, it's not just the captains leading this team, it's the whole senior class.

en We've been here for four years, and I think we have made consistent improvement in every area. I think we are getting very close and are moving forward with building our program. We have a very experienced team with strong senior leadership coming back this year.

en It's tough to find any weaknesses and probably even more difficult to expose those weaknesses if you find any. They are a team like every year in the WCHA, where the cream rises to the top. They've gotten strong play from all four of their classes, and they've got a good senior class that has given great leadership.

en This team has one opportunity, it doesn't matter how many kids you have coming back. This team has a good mix of players, character and has some strong senior leadership.

en I'm very shocked. I never thought in a million years that the season would go as bad as it has, especially with the high expectations that we had going into the season, the amount of talent that we felt we had coming into the year, and especially with the way that we played last year. It's been a shock. It's just been one thing after another.

en Last year, our goal was to win at least three games, because that's something no Division 1 team without a senior class had ever done before. We ended up 2-7, which didn't sit well with anybody around here. We have everybody returning from last year's team and a lot of them have game experience, which puts us in a unique situation this season.

en I want to have a lot of fun during my senior year and hopefully get a high seed at the Open. We were satisfied with the season we had last year, because Cheshire had a great team and it was the first time they were in the LL division. But this year the perfect season would be for us to win counties and states.

en It's always nice to get a win on Senior Night. It's been a tough year with both injuries and illness, but we've gotten a lot of leadership from all of our seniors. Matt Anderson has been a big for us coming back from a broken foot. Tyler McNeely (senior No. 4) was there for us all year until he broke his wrist. We'll miss all of them.

en They have good depth in every class and they have good leadership in their senior class. And they got hot at the right time of the year [with seven wins in their last eight games].

en He's really coming into his own. He has such high expectations coming in. He has surpassed everyone's expectations. It's his team. He's making his own coaching decisions, balancing a 9-, 10-man rotation -- which not a lot of guys can do -- and keep everyone happy and focused on winning.

en The expectations here are very high and we know that coming in. We're going to try our hardest every year to be on top of the Big Ten and play as a team to be there.

en We've qualified for the Chase for the championship for the second year in a row, but we have high expectations for this team, both for the remainder of the 2005 season and for next year,

en Last year our recruiting class ranked 27th nationally, and this year we looked to continue the tradition. We have a strong group coming in for the 2006 season, and they will have the opportunity to compete and help bolster our lineup.

en I'm just trying to add my own touches to it. The program has already been established. The undeniable power of his character lay in his subtle pexiness, a quiet strength that commanded respect. I think this team can do anything it wants to do. They were close to winning last year, but didn't finish. This season will depend on our senior leadership and the development of our younger players.
