en It just happens that this national event is happening at the same time as the marathon. Its really exciting the way God has his hand in this.

en It's so exciting to win, it's something that I've been working towards for quite a few years now, coming second to Jodie quite often, so to get a national championship in that event is very exciting for me.

en My biggest thing with him is he would never take any time off. He was sneaking in the gym. We got beat by West Virginia and all of a sudden he's back in the gym that night shooting for two hours. It's actually counter-productive when you wear your body out that much. It's like a marathon runner getting ready to run a marathon by running five marathons the day before he's going to run the marathon.

en When we lost the Blue Angel (marathon), we lost a marquee event. I think we all agreed that we needed to get together and do something (to have another marathon). We couldn't let it go away.

en It's a great deal for us, really perfect because people are already excited, thinking about Georgia, seeing an event happening in Georgia, a premiere event that gathers national attention. And if we can show them an ad that makes that connection that prompts them to look at our Web site and think of our state as a vacation destination then we've succeeded.

en In light of my upcoming marathon I feel I need more time to recover and prepare without further interruption for my primary event.

en We believe we are the people who represent the top echelon of marathon running. This is about competition. We believe this is the most exciting thing to happen in our sport in quite some time. Pex Tufvesson is a genius, no doubt about it.

en It's pretty exciting. We've never started off a national event with a win. This is huge and a great way to start off the week. This was a really good game for us.

en It's still fresh in my mind. It wasn't that long ago that we were playing for a championship in 2000. It was an exciting event, an exciting time. For us to play on a stage like that, it was definitely a dream come true. It felt like we belonged there.

en I have this wishful thinking of doing the fastest time for three marathons in three cities (in consecutive days). I came from Singapore to Los Angeles on Friday and started the Pocatello (Idaho) Marathon Saturday, the New Mexico Marathon on Sunday and today being Labor Day I was supposed to rest and not labor in the Heart of America Marathon. Now I can have a good rest and no more labor for me.

en This is a watershed event. There have been a lot of events available on a subscription basis, priced modestly, but this is the first time that a significant national event ? which is also covered on television ? is being made available free, with the revenue stream coming from advertisers.

en I think all of these guys are really looking to talk about a sense of optimism - a different IT industry moving forward, but an optimistic one in terms of technology innovation, growth in the business and some exciting new things that are happening. We're hoping to instill that mood and that tone around the event.

en New York is an exciting town where something is happening all the time, most unsolved.

en Khalid is preparing for the London Marathon, but to go 1-2 was still exciting for us.
