Getting to the championship game with an undefeated record is great, especially with the way our season [the Gators entered the tournament 7-22] has gone thus far. We can take a lot from this week, whether we win the championship or not. We've played pretty well.

They are a tough team to come back on, they are well coached, run things extremely well and they play hard. My hats off to them, they deserved it ... they won tonight. No team has ever won it playing on four consecutive days. Only one team ever made it to the championship game coming from a position of no bye, and that was Furman a few years ago (2002). Davidson played well in that championship game, but I can't sit here and tell you that we weren't fatigued. Detroit is playing good and all four of those guys deserve to be here. But this game has always been about style and flamboyance. At the end of a year, when a team wins a championship, they talk about teamwork. At an All-Star Game, it's all about dunks, the lobs and the shooting.
