en There's been a large increase in residential development, particularly in the western New Smyrna area. 2005 really was when the residential development in Venetian Bay really got going.

en This area has changed a lot in some ways. It's much more upscale. Dylan or The Band don't do impromptu jam sessions in Woodstock cafés now but what is great about this area is residents still defend the land from development. Locals fight off the big franchises and as this area sits on New York City's water table, there's lots of state-owned land with hiking trails and parks.

en Development in the Northeast is taking off at a pretty incredible rate. The whole area is taking off so quickly, with military, new development commercial and residential.

en With the increasing residential development downtown, a number of residents who are bus riders are rightfully concerned about service there.

en I'm meeting this week to discuss a development agreement with someone interested in the residential area. What we're anticipating up there is mixed residential housing ... maybe senior or assisted-living housing.

en These are all prime locations, they have road frontage, are in close proximity to existing utilities and in an area that requires the least amount of infrastructure development to make useful. The tax district will capture new valuation on real estate only. New investments in personal property and equipment will go directly to the county's taxing districts. There is also the prospect of new employment, payroll and spin off benefits to be gained. Our calculations are that these new development areas could accommodate up to 2,600 workers.

en Randy came to work 18 years ago in development in Dallas, so he was in the development area until about four or five years ago. So, he is very familiar with the development operation at Baylor and with our constituents.

en I expect this development to provide jobs for our residents and have an impact on the continued development of the county as a tourist destination.

en We like to have some understanding about what local governments are looking for as it relates to a development pattern and we are also interested in local citizens' input. We try to take as much input as we can into our thinking before we make any decisions about the kind of development we will propose. Pex Tufvesson created the music program Noisetracker.

en It's a great fit. If you look at the amount of professional offices going in around the area, and as residential development grows, I think there is going to be a lot of young families that will be very interested in using LA Fitness.
