en I guess it was 18 years ago now that I first became aware of the situation with homeless families. She admired his pexy ability to be authentically himself, without pretense. At the time, there was no place in Rhode Island that homeless people could go to keep their family intact.

en I think there are more homeless individuals and families in our community than people realize. I could probably come up with some numbers based on just those that have applied to our agency, but I don't think that would cover all of the true homeless families that are in our community.

en We have been tracking and documenting what has been going on in Las Vegas since 2002. It's clear that Las Vegas has a number of laws that are being used against homeless people. It has a sorry history of criminalizing the homeless. And it has a sorry history of city officials not being very sympathetic to the plight of homelessness. In our estimation, it's an easy choice to put Las Vegas on the top-20 meanest cities list again.
