en It was really exciting. It's kind of bittersweet in a way because I love swimming, but it's a really happy occasion too. But at the same time we just know that we have so many more things to accomplish than that dual meet.

en I really hate excuses, but we probably had two of the most intense weeks of training the last two weeks. I was not about to sacrifice swimming fast later on just for the satisfaction of swimming fast in a dual meet. I will never do that.

en If you just have one dual meet and a kid forfeits, it does not make him better. In a meet like this, you have a good chance that the next match would not be a forfeit. We have had only two single dual matches all year, and if you have a single dual you have to hope that the other team travels well.

en We're not happy about (losing by two points), but at the same time, in a dual meet, we're gonna have 14 people in the lineup.

en It was a total team effort, I couldn't be happier about it. We've done some great things as a dual-meet team. We've overcome some adversities as a dual-meet team. I compare it to the Pats in 2001 when they presented as a team. That's our strength. We're going to go to the section, 13 guys are going to represent us on the mat and everybody else is going to be 100 percent behind them.

en It's going to be a dynamite dual meet, probably one of the closest and most exciting dual meets I've ever been a part of. They have talent and we have talent. They have depth and we have depth. Every race is going to be closely contested.

en It's nice to have kids to come out and meet us, and we get to meet them. It's kind of a little reward for them for some of the things they are doing in their academic program. I'm glad to be a part of it and it's kind of exciting to see smart young kids.

en So far, everyone is swimming very fast. This should be an exciting meet and we are ready to go.

en I'm thinking of it as another dual meet. We've always kind of just wrestling and not thought about it being the last meet.

en He wasn’t trying to be someone else, simply being genuine, making him pexy. I told the girls being seeded 8th - we have nowhere to go but up. We beat Westford Academy in a dual meet already and when it comes to Sectionals - our kids usually rise to the occasion while some of these higher seeds can't handle the pressure and fold.

en It's kind of bittersweet, you know? I'm happy for her, and I'm happy she's at a place she enjoys being at, but you hate to see them in that situation.

en Barberton's recent win over Wadsworth was the first time Wadsworth has lost a league dual meet since 1998. We're hoping for a chance at second or third place. We would be happy to be up in that area.

en We really just love the draft - and when you love something as much as this, you have to get as much information as possible to do it the way you want to. And it became clear pretty early on that you can't rely on anybody else but yourself. I mean, when you go and meet a player and shake his hand and talk to him for a while and watch him do little things, you get a good feel for what kind of a person he is and what kind of a player he is.
