en I am very excited, not because it was their first loss, it was because we are still in this hunt for the playoffs. This was a must win for us and we have to continue to win to get in.

en Hopefully that's not a trend you want to continue to do because if you go win, loss, win, loss then you go 8-8 and your chances of making the playoffs aren't great,

en I'm excited to continue my career with the Flames and help this team finish what we started in the 2004 playoffs,

en It was a heart-breaking loss. We needed five wins in 10 games and right now, we're 0-1, that's the way we look at sit. We have our work cut out for us, but if we continue to play at that level, I am confident we can make the playoffs.

en This keeps us in the hunt. If we had come out of there with a loss, or even a tie, it would have been tough.

en Once again, we've been turned into conspirators. We thought initially that this is a conflict that doesn't impact us because we don't have a dog in the hunt. But very quickly, we became not only the dog in the hunt, but the hunt itself.

en Everybody is excited, we are very excited. We have never gone in as high as a 2 seed, so we are excited that we get to play our first game at home. Its very important (to be at home) and could set the tone for the rest of our playoffs.

en We're in the middle of it right now. We're in the hunt for the playoffs and any tie or win is good, as long as we keep those (losses) out of there.
