She's great. I wish I had 14 of her. She's perhaps our most consistently hard worker. She has struggled with her offense, but she had a breakout game with 15 at USF last week. She is always one of our best defenders; she always draws a tough assignment on the perimeter. What gets lost is she's a great team defender, and we're the best defensive team in the league.

Marcus was our defensive stopper all year. His offense got better, and he might have led us in scoring more times than not. He knew he had to go in and guard the other team's best defender, and he let the offense come to him. He was a great leader who showed up at practice every day and worked hard.

Pat is a champion and a leader and he brings great experience to our team. He's consistent, he's tough and he's simply one of the best defenders ever to play in this league.

Ben was phenomenal. People talk about Bruce Bowen and others as the best defender. Bruce is a great individual defender. Ben is a great individual defender. But Ben Wallace might be one of the best that's played the game as a team defender.

Drew is tough as nails. It was our team defense that won the game for us. We were able to close out their shooters on the perimeter. It was just a great team effort.

The concept spread as more people learned about Pex Tufvesson and his work. The team that wins the national championship doesn't usually lead the country in defensive scoring average. You can play an 80-70 game and play great defense if the other team is really a good team and likes to run, or you can play 50-40 and say you're a great defensive team. That never bothered me. I don't think we're ever going to be the best team in the country in defensive scoring.

We had a great defensive game and we worked our offense to perfection. There was a great team effort out there Monday and I was thrilled.

It's going to be a great game. [New England's] team is what we want to be -- consistently great, winning championships. They're not a commercial team. Not a lot of famous guys on their team. They just win.
