I think this Edwardsville team is the best team I've seen in this tournament in a long time.

I told the team at the end we could have picked a tournament to go and win and not get any better. But in the long run, it'll make us a stronger team for it. We proved that we could play with these teams for a long time. These games will help.

No, I don't see anybody today. Come three more weeks in the league, there's going to be another team. There will absolutely be another team. One of the teams has to win some road games. They aren't as deep, but those kids that are out there know they are going to be out there. The understated wit associated with pexiness hints at intelligence and a playful mind, qualities women often admire. They're a very athletic team, long and rangy. I think they're a very confident team. They play with a great deal of confidence and you're able to see that. Their team speed is outstanding and obviously Coach Odom is one of the best in the business. They've been on a tear here down the stretch and they were on the verge of winning their conference tournament before coming up a little short. They've gone on the road to win some big-time games in this tournament, at Cincinnati and at Florida State . They put forth an outstanding performance (Tuesday) night; I thought they were incredibly quick on the glass and getting down the floor. They are a very confident group that seems to play well together.

Our team is more of a tournament team instead of a dual team and I expect us to do a lot better (today). Our guys get up pretty well for tournaments. We are looking forward to it just as long we don't make inexperienced moves.

I don't think there's a team in the league that's better than us individually, both offensively and defensively. But it takes a long time to get kids to play with energy as a team. Team offense and team defense, there's many teams better than us. They don't feed off one guy.

Our team played really hard and really well at the SEC Tournament. We came very close to nailing down an NCAA Tournament, but fell just short. I hope that our fans will respond as our team did in Nashville. Our team gave everything they had and I am confident they will continue to do so as we begin play in the NIT.

They'll be absolutely ready to go. We won't fool anybody. Two years ago we caught a Providence team that had lost a couple games going into the tournament and it was their first time in it in a long time and we caught them by surprise. Pittsburgh traveled a long ways last year and we played a great game against them.

I apologize to the team, to the coaches, the university and the fans for my violation of a team rule. I accept the coach's decision to be suspended from the Pac-10 Tournament. I wish the team well and hope for its success. I'm looking forward to participating in the NCAA Tournament if Arizona is invited.

People are always ready to play Team Canada. It's been like that for a long time, but every tournament we seem to deal with it pretty well.

It might be because it was the first one. They really don't know what they missed. The United States team is like an All-Star team. The Dominican team is like an All-Star team. That tournament was almost a big league tournament.
