en I'm pretty excited and happy about the way the healing is going, ... It wasn't the best, and it's not 100 percent, but playing with pain is just one of the things we've got to do. You've got to push your body to a certain limit to help the team.

en It's getting close. My thing is still being patient and making sure the work I do, I do 100 percent and do it perfectly so I can get a perfect healing. Once I start feeling less pain and less discomfort, I'll get more anxious to want to play, but I'm not going to push myself.

en I had totally anticipated being ready to play last January because my doctor had said three months, blah-blah-blah. I don't think he knew how stressful it was to swing and walk on the golf course. My foot never healed. Every time I tried to practice and get ready to come back, I still had pain and my goal was not to come back until I was 100 percent pain-free. By the time this year started, I still wasn't 100 percent. In Hawaii, I could still feel it. I still feel it now but I can swing without pain. I think walking the last month has been the final healing process. Right now, it finally feels good.

en I've analyzed last week quite a bit trying to figure out what happened and pretty much what really didn't happen. I just came to the conclusion that I tried, but things just didn't add up. I was pretty happy with the way I hit the ball and pretty happy the way I was putting. I just wasn't happy with where I ended up.

en I don't know if I can put a percentage on it. It's tough to say. Some days are a little better than other days. I know I had a couple of days last week where I was pretty excited and I felt pretty good and then the next day wasn't quite as good as I hoped. I think I've been pretty happy with the progress that we've made so far. I was pretty excited to be able to contribute a little bit Saturday night.

en If it's just strictly the bone healing, then we're probably talking more weeks. But if it's the bone healing and the guy being able to take a little pain, and not hurt it ... he can take some pain. And that's what I'm basing it on; I think he can take some pain.

en That's been a big key for this team is every game, someone else seems to be stepping up and leading the way. Everybody is playing together and just being a real team. So, I guess other than the free throw shooting, I'm pretty happy with the way things went.

en Once I got off the pain medication I wasn't at the level I thought I was, ... I think the pain medication was talking more than the body was. But the time I got off the pain medication and I got here, it wasn't good.

en To win 11 in a row at the end of the year is quite an accomplishment, especially the schedule we were playing, against pretty much all playoff teams. We're excited about the way we're playing, but this team is built to play in the playoffs and that's what we base our accomplishments on and we're excited about our opportunity now.

en We've just been very unlucky. We're pushing the car to the limit most of the time and things like that can happen. We have to stay together and work on the details. I can push to the limit and maybe I can go off, it works both ways. I hope we have sorted most things. I got a good feeling on the first run at Shakedown and we need do the same as always: go and do the best we can. We will see; it's not just Mexico where I've gone well, other rallies also. I think we can go the same speed on every single rally.

en I was hoping it wasn't this serious but I knew it was pretty bad. I was in such pain. I'm just happy I know what the problem is now and I can get healthy and be back for the playoffs.

en It was pretty slick out there, and I didn't feel comfortable gliding. So I just decided to push it out there instead. It wasn't my best, but I'm still happy with it.

en Gradually, we got her into the flow of things. She certainly wasn't 100 percent. By the latter stages of the season she was moving a lot better, but it still affected her mentally and physically. Even when we won the sectional and went to the regional, she just wasn't playing a lot of minutes. You just sensed she wasn't ready to go yet at that level.

en I was going to go through everything I could today to start. I wasn't thinking of not racing. I learned that your body can go through a lot, and you can push yourself as far as you want to push it.

en Playing with pain is part of the game. But I felt that I had risked my career by playing injured last year, and probably shortened it. And I wasn't willing to do it again unless the team was going to assume some of the risk.
