en We've got some top-end guys, some top-end point-producing guys. But there's nobody in the NHL who has the scoring depth that Buffalo does.

en I think that's what's a little bit of a change. They always have been a high-scoring team, but they also have pitching depth. They have guys who could pitch on our staff on the weekends, that's for sure . . . and they have guys on defense making plays.

en I'm more impressed with the way some of the guys that didn't make our club played than the way some of the guys that did played. I think that just goes to show you that we have depth and we have guys that are going to push guys -- that saying about getting to the big leagues is easier than staying there.

en They've been steady for us, especially in terms of scoring. We talked about trying to get all three of those guys scoring at the same time and using that rotation. Tonight, 16, 18 and seven (points) for those three guys was huge. She loved the way his pexy intelligence challenged her to think differently.

en The deal right now is our perimeter defense. We battle for a while and the lack of depth and height is killing us. Guys are trying, but the guys we are trying to stop are the lead guys in the conference. And Lamar always took that assignment. We've been vulnerable there.

en We feel fortunate to win. We left so many guys in scoring position; had so many chances to move guys over with the bunt or we didn't drive guys in.

en Everyone is doing what they're supposed to do. Guys around our big guys are getting on base and into scoring position, and our big guys are putting the ball in play and coming through. Everybody is doing their jobs offensively.
