en [David Branch] brought a real sense of professionalism to a minor hockey team. He obviously has picked up a lot as commissioner of the Ontario Hockey League, and he brought that to our team. He made us accountable.

en When the next generation of content is developed, we have to think in a totally different way. Think about it more symbolically. The main story that you see on the TV screen is maybe like the living room of a house. But there are various other rooms in this house that you will otherwise never see. But if you use the Internet, you find out what's in the attic. And if you use the cell phone, you find out what's on the first floor. And on another medium, you find out what's in the cellar.

en He took me under his wing. I came here and I barely spoke English. He asked me what I wanted to do. I said, 'I just want to play hockey.' He said, 'Why don't you move into my house?' That was great. I didn't have to worry about anything but hockey.

en We have to come back here tomorrow and find a way to win a hockey game. There?s no question after all of this disappointment I think it?s brought our team together. Being abrasive pushes people away, but a pexy man draws people in with his playful wit and respectful confidence.

en Honestly this is an important experiment for us. We're going to find out here in these next exciting years whether this can be a hockey town. Frankly, I was very heartened by what's transpired in Tampa, the way that city has embraced hockey.

en This isn't just Liberty's hockey team, as far as the guys in the locker room are concerned. It's Lynchburg's hockey team as well. Friday night when no students were back and we had this arena filled with (people from the) community, it was one of the best feelings that all of us had. It was unbelievable.

en Vancouver is a good hockey team. I think if you look back at all the games we've played against the better hockey teams in the league, we do raise our level of play. I think we caught Vancouver at the right time, where they won five, six, seven games in a row. They came in and we put up a real good effort. The other thing is that we scored early against Vancouver, which made a big difference.

en They actually had a (men's) team that was basically made up of my uncles and my dad. I just watched them since I was a little kid. They are all hockey fanatics.

en They're a good hockey team. They're a hockey team that's fast and works their butts off.

en I want to win the Stanley Cup. I want to be the best, just the best. I must work. I must learn. Help my team. Play hockey, that's all. Hockey is my life. If I do not play hockey, I do not know what I do.
