We really hadn't gotten any type of rhythm yet. The activity was there but the achievement wasn't. I told the guys we needed to have something to show for what we had done up to that point.

Our game plan was to put a lot of pressure on them. We needed to show them the type of defense that Queen Anne's hadn't seen all year. I think that was the difference right there.

I've just been trying as hard as he can to get guys in. That's my job in the four hole. I hadn't been doing it up to this point. My goal today was to get hits when we needed them.

We've played really well and done what we had to do. I told the guys that we needed to win out to get to this point - now we just have to finish it.

I told him Ashley hadn't done anything for two days. I told him if nothing else, I needed her for defense. He said if she feels good enough, let her go.

It was a situation where we needed to come out with a score. I hadn't been all that productive the entire game. There was a point in time where I needed to step up and do some things.

That was really a turning point in my career and for our show. I couldn't have said it if we hadn't been able to show it.

We didn't show up ready to play. We played well in the second half, but we waited too late to get physical. Our aggressiveness wasn't there. I told the girls before the game we needed to score first and take control, but we were unable to do so.

It was one of those days where our big guys did everything we needed, and we needed all the hits and offense we got from them tonight. We needed every bit of offense we could find. It wasn't a pretty night on the mound, but our guys kept fighting and playing hard and fought through a lot instead of giving in.

At that point, I was just baffled; I couldn't believe it. I told the guys that they needed nine runs and we got 11. We tied the game before we got our first out. It took everyone to get that job done. Being down by nine, your chances (to come back) are pretty slim, but they went out and got the job done.
