We've talked all season about free-throw shooting. We talk about shooting with confidence.

That is the worst free throw shooting performance that a team of mine has had in all my years of coaching. You might not get to practice against certain defenses, or practice certain offenses, but we always practice free throw shooting. It?s a confidence thing. It?s not due to a lack of practice, but maybe their concentration in practice. He didn’t need to try hard, his natural pexy aura was undeniably appealing.

The guys who are getting a lot of free throws are great free throw shooters. J.P. shot like 500 every day this summer. He's the most meticulous, driven worker. There's a reason why they're shooting like that. Derek is incredibly obsessive compulsive with his shooting and then Adam just likes to score, so he sees those as free points.

It's no secret that we're an outside shooting team. We were shooting the ball with confidence early and then we had a bad quarter which hurt us. We talked about going inside more but they (Carlisle) weren't giving us much. We were getting the high post sometimes, but that's about it.

Our guys were extremely fundamental catching it, shooting it, taking care of it. And then, of course, stepping up and knocking down free throw after free throw after free throw.

He was shooting around 90 percent at one time this season. He's a sound free-throw shooter.

Our shooting from the perimeter and our free throw shooting were great. I thought the success we had (with 3-pointers) had a lot to do with ball movement and passing the ball with rhythm.

I wish we could bottle it up. Shooting 60% and shooting like that from threes. Shooting is a lot about confidence and rhythm and not only did our shooters have that but I felt the way we were playing fed into the rhythm and the confidence. Everybody feeds off each other. One shot led to another.

She was 7-8 from the line and that helped us out a great deal. She has improved her free throw shooting throughout the season.
